Presenting a Positive Image: How to Dress for the Job You Want

Saturday March 13th @ 11 am
Olympic Room, Main Library
1102 Tacoma Avenue South

In today’s highly competitive job market, landing an interview is cause to celebrate. How you prepare for the interview and the image you project there will either work for or against you. This workshop will cover criteria employers watch for when interviewing prospective job candidates such as: how to dress appropriately for the type of job you are interviewing for; Fashion Do’s and Don’ts; posture; and appropriate business etiquette. The workshop will include examples of outfits that are employer friendly and those that aren’t.
Presented by Mary Butschky, Coordinator of the Suited for Success Program of Catholic Community Services. Cosponsored by the Puget Sound Chapter of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO).
