1022 South - Third Anniversary

We’d like to take the opportunity to wish 1022 South a very happy third anniversary.

The little cocktail place is one of our favorite Tacoma establishments, for the stellar cocktails they serve up, as well as for the recognition they’ve gotten among connoisseurs of the cocktail arts. Recognition for Tacoma’s little hilltop apothecary gem includes a write-up in the New York Times Magazine food blog, and even a 1022 homage night at fellow cocktail bar Clive’s Classic Lounge in Victoria, B.C. (incidentally Clive’s is definitely worth a visit if you’re up in that neck of the woods).

We were sorry to hear that 1022 had a rough night earlier this month, when they were broken into and robbed of a few dozen bottles of their key ingredients, but they’re ready to share their love for Tacoma with drink specials in celebration of their anniversary. So we’re hoping you’ll head on over and give them a little extra love on their anniversary this year. We know we can count on you.

This Thursday, March 29, 1022 will be celebrating with $6 cocktails all night. At last count the Facebook event page had nearly 120 “yes” RSVPs. And counting…
