12th Annual Model Train Festival Starts Today
All aboard! The Washington State History Museum’s 12th Annual Model Train Festival begins today, December 26th, and runs through January 1st. So get yourselves together, pack up the kids, and head downtown to the WSHM.
Trains are on every floor. Displays are designed by a number of model train clubs and enthusiasts. Check out the 1 million+ brick Lego display of a 1930s village. And, of course, don’t forget the 1800 square foot permanent model train layout of 1950s Tacoma that runs from Commencement Bay through Stampede Pass.
