1.4 Acres in the Target Mixed Use Area

Are you looking for a piece of land with decent freeway visibility and car traffic? If so, maybe this is what you’ve been looking for… 1.4 acres of surplus Bellarmine property across the street from Target in the 2700 block of Union Street. For a mere $1.2 million you could get that project started. Maybe?

I went to Bellarmine in the late 90s, early 00s. They were working heavily on the endowment fund… I wonder if the sale of this plot would go to the fund.

I see that in T-Town, CCX zoning allows for up to 60 feet.
Hm, you could do some really interesting mixed-use with 60’ to play with…

If you don’t want vacant land, the Webster Apartments on St. Helens (Puget Sound Pizza is in the Building) is also up for sale. Only 4 million and it could be yours. http://www.commercialmls.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=property.detailFS&ln=431520

I believe that is the home to the secret smoking bench. Where will the naughty school girls go get their daily fix, now!? :)

Naughty school girls? Sassy McButterpants, get over here quick.

Who needs all that green space anyway. What a waste of valuable parking and low-end commercial land.

I’d like to express my sadness and disappointment with the impending loss of this property. It has brought much joy and happiness to Tahoma Terrace residents for 30 years. Initially it was worked by the retired teachers, most of whom have gone to greener pastures. It has been a privilege and honor to garden this space for the last 4 years. I’m sorry that Bellarmine has chosen to surplus this little island of green.

Sorry, greenthoughts, condo’s reaching high into the sky with a fine view of the Mountain just above the vapor plumes from the Nalley Valley, now, that’s what makes for a “City of Destiny”. You want carrots, beets and tomatoes, there’s a Top Food across the street and you won’t get that nasty dirt under your nails.
WOOOOPS, my cynicism is showing. Sorry for your loss, greenthoughts.

Holy Water!
As if putting a For Sale sign on a mound of dirt and saying it’s owned by a religious order should convince anyone that it’s worth at least a million bucks.

How sad!

Oh hey people—-I just might have some good news for some of you.
I drove by this hill a minute ago and the sign on it said AVAILABLE——not For Sale—-AVAILABLE.
