1892 Mansion With Quite a View
The house here is one of the grand Tacoma Avenue homes.
Built by Charles Marble in 1892, it later became the home of Addison Foster, the US Senator for our state from 1899 to 1905. It was split into apartments back in the 1940s, but it doesn’t seem to have suffered from the conversion. Bring it back to a single family home and we’ll have something quite grand.
You might see this advertisement and think that it’s just another big house that you can’t afford. Nearly $1.3 million is quite a few change jars and skipped nights out at the bar. Oh come on, owner occupy a unit and find some creative financing… ah nevermind.
