19th and MLK Getting Redevelopment Love

There appears to be a project in the works to redevelop the southwest corner of 19th and MLK.  What’s happening?  It appears to be three to four unit retail building with a possible drive through lane for a possible coffee shop. From what we hear, the Hilltop Action Coalition has been involved to help define the types of tenants that should go on the site. 

The developer is currently going in for a rezone from C1 to NCX.  Our tipsters notes that, While the building would be under-utilizing the site with the NCX zoning, it would be a tremendous improvement for an area that could use some love and attention.
