2007 Twisty Cup Pro/Am on July 21st
Are you ready for the 2007 Twisty Cup Pro/Am? We dropped in last year and saw quite an amazing event. This year will prove to be even better, I’m sure. Check it out. See some of Tacoma’s great glassblowers in action as they produce a thin glass cup with twisted ridges spiraling down the sides and the bottom.
M-Space presents the 2007 Twisty Cup Pro-Am, where glassblowers from across the globe compete for fame and prizes in a battle royale.
Prizes will be awarded, dreams will be fulfilled, egos will be crushed, refreshments will be served, and commemorative t-shirts will be on sale.

I do hope that area is redeveloped into housing for the purpose of density, millions in tax revenue, a Cheney Stadiun downtown by the REALLY dense areas/ future streetcars/ view of the Sound, and an area of new places that might inspire some fixing up of old places near by.
That area really should be a neighborhood and the Parks service office and Cheney Stadium belong downtown.
