2013 Annual Amendment opportunity

The Planning Commission is accepting applications for amending the Comprehensive Plan and/or Land Use Regulatory Code for 2013. The 2013 amendment cycle begins on July 1, 2012, and ends by June 30, 2013. Applications may be submitted by any organizations or individuals, and are subject to $1,200 application fee. Applications are due by Friday, June 29, 2012. For more information, visit www.cityoftacoma.org/planning and click on “2013 Annual Amendment.”

The first reading of ordinances to adopt this year’s changes are on the agenda for this week’s City Council meeting. Proposed changes for 2012 include changes to the Housing, Transportation, and Environmental Policy elements.
