21 Cellars Celebrates Washington Wine Month

One of our favorite Tacoma businesses is having one of our favorite kinds of events next Friday; Tacoma’s 21 Cellars is celebrating Washington Wine Month with a barrel tasting. This is your chance to get a taste of their current and future offerings, along with appetizers, while chatting with the winemaker, Phillip Coates. These kind of events are always fun, and we always walk away with a little more insight into the wines we’ve tasted. And this one’s extra special, because it gives you local foodie bragging rights.
Also in honor of Washington Wine Month, they have also released their first-ever Malbec, the Pont 21 2009 Malbec. Both the Malbec and the tasting are special opportunities; a limited number of cases of the Malbec were produced, and space at the winemaker’s barrel tasting is limited to 15 guests. If you can’t make it to the tasting, you can arrange a tasting appointment at 21 Cellars on Thursdays and Saturdays. Or we heard you might be able to score a glass at the Amocat…
