2nd Annual Day of the Dead Procession

Start saving your newspaper and paper towel tubes! Join us this Friday, August 18th at 6pm for a brief meeting about this years Day of the Dead event. Last year’s was a lot of fun and this year’s is sure to be better. We will be hosting papier-mache workshops to create figures used in the Day of the Dead Processions – one on 6th Ave and one downtown in conjunction with events at UWT and the Tacoma Art Museum.

All meetings take place in the community meeting room at the new MLK police substation located at 16th & MLK (1524 MLK Jr way) – across the street from Metro Parks People’s Center.
