72 Hour Film Festival 2010 - Recap
The Grand Cinema’s 72 Hour Film Festival once again packed the Rialto on Friday night. Now that it’s Monday, go ahead and put on those headphones and watch a few films before actually … working.
Here was the criteria for 2010:
- Situation: Within the first minute of the movie, each film must find a bag with something important in it (and it must be relevant to the rest of the film)
- Line of Dialogue: “Should I know what that means?”
- Prop: A map
- Action: Breaking
- 5 minute maximum, length including credits
Here are the award winning films we’ve found online already. If you have one we’ve missed, send them our way and we’ll put them here.
U-253 – Bryan Johnson

Zen Arcade – Rick Gratzer
Best Use of The Situation
The Genie of Tacoma – Erik Hanberg
