72 Hours of Filmmaking - 2010
The many fine filmmakers of Tacoma are once again on the streets trying to put their tales together. Teams gathered at the Grand Cinema last night and were assigned their task: develop, shoot and edit a five minute film in 72 hours that includes the following criteria:
- Situation: Within the first minute of the movie, each film must find a bag with something important in it (and it must be relevant to the rest of the film)
- Line of Dialogue: “Should I know what that means?”
- Prop: A map
- Action: Breaking
- 5 minute maximum, length including credits
They now have until 7:00 pm on Sunday to submit their finished work.
Do you want to see the final results? The 72 Hour Film Festival will be held at the Rialto next Friday, May 7th, 2010. Doors open at 6 pm. Films begin at 7 pm. This is always a great evening.
