8mm Journey - Tacoma's In There Somewhere

The fine folks at Finkbuilt (A Tinkerer’s Journal) have posted a bit of vintage imagery circa 1988. What you see is the stretch of I-5 from Olympia to Seattle. The footage was shot using a thrift store 8mm camera and frames were advanced one at a time via the shutter release cable. The result is an 8mm movie of the journey… in 2 minutes. It made me dizzy. It’s not about Tacoma, but we’re in there somewhere. Link to Finkbuilt |
