A Comment on Comments

I’ve posted a Guidelines For Comments.  Comments have only been allowed for a few weeks and we haven’t had any problems, but still, this should help you understand how they should work here on Exit133.

One important thing to note – particularly given the rather long discussions we have going in some corners of this site – is that comments shut down automatically four weeks after the article has been posted.  I can up this to six weeks if we want.  I don’t want them to stay open forever.  Closing down comments helps prevent comment spam and gives us some closure – hopefully.  If we need more discussion on a topic, we can always post another article and go from there.
