A Couple of Condos on Broadway
In the spirit of the Tour of Urban Living this weekend, we thought we’d do a little prowling around the web and see what else is around.
505 Broadway and The Granville are both new entries to a street that still has some older units available as well. We found two condo buildings on Broadway that measure their tenure by the decade.

At 35 Broadway, this project was built in 1984. It has a couple nice features include a deck overlooking the water, a jetted tub, and elevator access directly to the unit. 2,600 square feet. Asking price is $819,000.

The other on Broadway is the renovated Sky Terrace, at 235 Broadway. The building was opened in 1961 as apartments and converted to condos in time for last year’s Tour of Urban Living. The unit has one bedroom and one bath and clocks in at 767 square feet.
What is particularly note-worthy about this condo? … Besides access to the pool on the roof? The asking price, $269,950, is just $25 over the current median home price for Pierce County. This condo is almost exactly average.
We’ll try to keep checking out what’s on the market in Tacoma—condos and houses that are near the median price, good deals, fixer-uppers, and high-priced top end buys.
