A North Slope Fundraiser at the Grand Cinema

For all of my friends that live in the North Slope like I do, or simply live in an classic Tacoma home, this event is for you.

On Saturday, May 1st, at 9:30 a.m., The Grand Cinema is presenting a special one-time showing of “The Money Pit” starring Tom Hanks. My home was built in 1888, was remodeled in the 1920s, then questionably remodeled throughout the 70s through the 90s. The “Money Pit” is a classic home improvement film that hits rather close to home for my neighbors and me. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door, with the proceeds used to fund North Slope Historic District’s programs.

What a great way to start the weekend.
