A Note About Comments
The number of site comments has significantly increased in the last few weeks and because of it I’ve noticed a few things.
1. If you get a “preconditioned failed” message when trying to PREVIEW or SUBMIT your comment, please tell me about it. Also, if you happen to have a copy of what you tried to submit, please send it to me. The security settings on the site try to limit comment spam by blocking certain content. In the last two days we’ve had people try to comment on “gambling” and “singles”, and these have been filtered out. The comments have been relevant, but they were unable to post them. I apologize. I’ll work on tweaking the security settings over the next few days. Tell me what you’ve run into on the site and I’ll try to work that into the fix.
2. Use a real email address when submitting comments. A few folks here have been using fake email addresses. Exit133 never publishes these addresses. The only thing we use them for is to clarify comments or ask questions if a question arises about a comment. The only person that sees the email address is me. If I have a question about a comment and you don’t use a real email address, I will most likely delete the comment entirely. I really don’t appreciate typing out a long question, hitting send, and having it bounce back to me. That puts me into a poor mood.
As a whole, I’ve loved the comments. Keep them coming! Thank you for reading Exit133 and contributing to our community.
