A Tree City Tree Planting - April 23rd

As you are most likely aware, today is Earth Day. Did you also know that Friday is Arbor Day? Well, the earth loving party continues tomorrow and you are invited.

Tomorrow, April 23rd, join the celebrations of Tacoma’s sustainability and its 15th year as a Tree City USA with a tree planting. ll are welcome for the planting of a 15-foot Sitka Spruce at 10:00 am tomorrow at South 15th and Dock Street.

From what we hear, the City may also be giving away free little trees for citizens to plant at their own homes.

Join the celebration. Plant a tree … or at least watch someone else plant one.
