A Whole Lotta Theater

This Thursday is the start of a huge theater festival at the Theater on the Square.

The Festival of Northwest Plays is put on by the Northwest Playwrights Alliance, a group that also hosts staged readings every month at the Broadway Center.

The Festival will have three full-length plays and more than thirty shorts. It runs through March 2. All the plays will be fully produced, not staged readings. More than 150 actors, directors, and playwrights have helped to put this big theater event up.
