America's Got Talent Comes to Tacoma

America's Got Talent is coming back to Tacoma. It's your one-day only open audition chance to strut your stuff - possibly in front of all of America.

Each audition is only 90 seconds, so auditioners need to show up at the Convention Center ready to impress. Here are a few tips for auditioning from Simon Cowell, who produces America's Got Talent:

1. Be original.
2. Don't be boring.
3. Stand out from the crowd.
4. Be fearless.

Cowell also encourages dancers to incorporate tricks and innovative choreography, and everyone to wear unique costumes, again as ways of standing out. We're sensing a theme here.

The televised national talent show will be in its 10th year, and we think it's about time for someone from Tacoma to really shine...
