Art at Work Month Opening Party at TAM

We are about to roll into November and the beginning of Tacoma’s Art at Work month. Are you ready? Tacoma’s 2009 Art at Work festivities include 290 events in just 30 days. This is a great opportunity to see the tremendous collective talent of our city and to further get involved in the arts community. This isn’t just for the artists. There is something here for everyone.

To kick things off, join us at the the Art at Work Opening Party this Thursday at the Tacoma Art Museum. Enjoy live music by the Tacoma Youth Symphony, poetry by William Kupinse and Tammy Robacker, light hors d’oeuvres and a no host bar. Museum galleries will be open for your viewing pleasure and we will be honoring the 2009 AMOCAT Award winners and the 2009 funding recipients.
