Art On the Ave is Tomorrow!

In all your wonderful weather weekend planning, don’t forget about Art On The Ave – one of the most vibrant annual arts events in the city. Sixth Avenue is closed to cars between Cedar and Trafton. Art, artists, and music are everywhere. It’s a great opportunity to wander the shops and meet the new retailers that have sprung up in the last few years. In particular, we look forward to witnessing Lynn Di Nino’s “Chaos Into Order” – a performance event running from noon to 6:00 pm. So many good events and good people in one place…
The weather looks perfect. Join us on Sixth tomorrow!
When
Sunday, July 8th

Ghamarian Rug Company?
I thought the Ghamarian’s were an extinct tribe. This announcement is great news.

The prospect of Exit 133 purchasing a rug is what led Ghamarian’s to open at that location. You are obligated now.

The space never really got used by Prium. Nice to see something come of it now, especially retail.

I’ll miss walking by and checking out the models that Prium had set up near the windows. So what’s happened to Prium now?

Would that be Mo Ghamarian? The proprietor of the recently closed rug shop, near Sanford & Son, on Antique row. I bought a rug from him after the “going out of business” sale and auction. Fun guy to deal with. I’m an old Yankee and he’s a Arab rug trader…. the negotiation was pretty intense and comical.
