Art Walk for Nov 08 - Open Thread
Tonight is Third Thursday and Art Walk. The museums are open. The galleries are open. Our usual haunts will be open. But that leaves the question: Where should we go tonight? Who is showing something special?

Now that the tenant on the first floor has moved out, Laura Hanan and Andrea Lowen (aka Chalk Diva) are showing some new art tonight. Adjacent to the space Merendes is about to open.
811 Pacific Ave
Tacoma, WA 98402
Laura’s pieces are pretty cool and they incorporate many of the well known crime photos she has taken in the area and made them into art pieces. Some of her more famous shots are recognizable that she took in the Theater District.
Meanwhile, Andrea (aka Lupingoddess) has some of her signature original oils on display many which feature naked women being pulled out of black mire as well as other mind blowing work.
Should be a good show.
