Bad Owners

I like folks that show some initiative.  When Tacoma launched its Filthy 15 website several weeks ago some folks thought that it wasn’t enough so they put together the site BadOwners.com.  The site takes the Filthy 15 info and adds the owner information from the tax records.  I like concise websites that provide me with all the information I need.  The key question is, however, will public humiliation help fix these properties? 

An interesting side note.  Being a afficionado of classic apartment buildings, the property on Earnest Brazil St. caught my eye.  Now maybe its a coincidence, but it seems that the man that owns this building is also the one caught up in “a little property skirmish up in Seattle you might’ve heard about”http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/Content?oid=20428.
