BLID Groundbreaking Ceremony
Just in case you are anywhere near 7th and St. Helens, those suits shoveling dirt mean work is beginning on the Broadway LID… finally!
From the City:
The BLID Groundbreaking Ceremony is today at 10am at 7th St & St. Helens. RAIN or SHINE!
Starting at 10a, speakers will share a few brief remarks, then there will be a dirt dig photo and project team introduction followed by a coffee and scones (from Margaret’s) reception in Room 16.

Nice to see the LID finally start after so many delays.
A significant milestone in trying to rebuild a city.
Now we are going to have some challenging construction times.
