BLID - Phase 1 Notices

It took us so long to get the Broadway LID construction bid approved, that we almost forgot it involves real work getting done too. A notice began appearing on cars yesterday that announced the first phase of the project to those that park on the affected streets. The gist of it comes down to:

… All parking on Broadway between South 7th and South 2nd will be temporarily eliminated. Soon, you will see large signs installed with the actual start date, but we wanted to notify you early so you can find alternate parking.

June 2008

Phase 2
Market Street
South 9th – South 7th
October 2008

Phase 3
Broadway
South 9th – South 6th & South 7th
April 2009

Phase 4
St. Helens
South 9th – South 7th
July 2009

The Broadway LID is scheduled to be complete in the summer of 2009.
