BLID Update for July 29th

The Broadway LID is in full swing and the street closures and an ever changing route to work is becoming a daily part of our lives. So … here’s the project update for July 29th:

• Shallow utility work and street restoration on Market from 9th to 7th
• Form and pour sections of the large wall
• Start of segmented wall installation (block)
• Communication vaults S. 6th, S. 4th to Broadway (west)
• Flush and test water on Broadway
• Storm sewer installation continues along Broadway between 6th & 2nd streets
• Sanitary sewer installation along Market between 9th and 7th
• Water services on Broadway between 2nd & 4th
• 7th & Commerce … nearly done!! … the road will most likely be striped and re-opened by the end of the week

We look forward to a lot of new asphalt … and to having our building stop doing the cha-cha everyday.
