Bocce for Thursday, August 14th

Tonight

Last week’s bocce game in Fern Hill was quite amazing. In spite of losing our preferred field to a soccer league, we still found enough grass to play five simultaneous games. We had several new players show up. The final three way game found Rick, Michael Buchanan, and Derek battling it out as the sun went down. Michael Buchanan came out strong to take down Rick and Derek in the final.

This week we’re heading back to People’s Park at South 9th and MLK. It’s the location of our first game this summer. By popular demand, folks are asking to go back. So, for this week, we’re heading back. Some individuals will be heading to the Tempest and/or Monsoon Room first … and probably after. We teach the game to anyone new every week! All are welcome! Prizes.
