Bocce Tonight - July 17th

Tonight’s bocce game is on. We’re heading to the McKinley neighborhood. Folks should be grabbing a little something from Neighbors Coffee and/or Top of Tacoma before the game. We’ll be playing in McKinley Park just above the Tacoma Dome where East D Street meets McKinley. Balls start rolling at 6:00 pm.

Last week’s game was a great time. The Stadium Business District opened their doors to us and we found some amazing treasures along the way. The bocce that followed in Wright Park was quite intense. We picked up a couple of passers-by for the tournament. Derek even joined the game and went all the way to the final match against Justin. Derek’s propensity for pitching the pallino (jack) into tree roots didn’t win him friends among the players. In the end, Justin won and moved into first place for the summer series.
