Bonney Lake to Annex Tacoma's North Slope?

Given that we live in Tacoma’s North Slope, the letter I just received was a bit of a surprise.

As you should now be aware, the property you own in the City of Bonney Lake’s urban growth area will soon be annexed into Bonney Lake’s corporate limits. The Bonney Lake City Council adopted Ordinance 1119 on April 26, 2005 making the annexation effective June 1, 2005.

The letter then contains several pages explaining the ordinance – mostly in all CAPS. We didn’t feel like reading all the details, but the name and address was mine, so it must be true…
