Box Top Vintage, Where Old is New

“That shirt! I MUST have that shirt!” If you are a fan of vintage aloha shirts, you know exactly what I mean when I say I don’t just want that shirt but I n-e-e-d that shirt. I had this epiphany today as I passed Box Top Vintage clothing which is celebrating their 2nd day open at 907 Pacific Ave. Run by two fabulous red heads, Jooley Heaps and Cedar Terry, Box Top has a growing collection of truly vintage and nicely selected clothing and accessories for both men and women.

Next time you’re out for a stroll or are in need of something with a little more character than your Gap collection offers, stop on in. They are open Noon to 6pm most days (Mondays are a little iffy) and are working on building their online presence as well.

As for that shirt, what I n-e-e-d is one in Extra-Large.

Box Top is the first tenant of the space filling innitiative. Look for more temp art and retail joints to open up. The Chamber and Atrs commision are even making it official with a program called “spaceworks” keep your eyes peeled! Take away the supply and create the demand as Dominic would say! Let’s go Tacoma and fill some spaces!
