Bringing Rugs to Pacific

Do you remember that space on Pacific that we talked about several months ago. It’s the one by Meconi’s, Matador, and Suite133 that once housed a gorgeous condo showroom. Well … Here’s a space that’s reverting back a couple of several generations. What was most recently a condo showroom will become the Ghamarian Rug Company.

They’ve been working hard on getting the space ready. It’s been gutted. The condo style kitchens and living rooms are gone. Workers are coming and going every day. Maybe we need a rug soon.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

    Ghamarian Rug Company?

I thought the Ghamarian’s were an extinct tribe. This announcement is great news.

The prospect of Exit 133 purchasing a rug is what led Ghamarian’s to open at that location. You are obligated now.

The space never really got used by Prium. Nice to see something come of it now, especially retail.

I’ll miss walking by and checking out the models that Prium had set up near the windows. So what’s happened to Prium now?

Would that be Mo Ghamarian? The proprietor of the recently closed rug shop, near Sanford & Son, on Antique row. I bought a rug from him after the “going out of business” sale and auction. Fun guy to deal with. I’m an old Yankee and he’s a Arab rug trader…. the negotiation was pretty intense and comical.
