Broadway Center's New Season

We’re happy to see that the Broadway Center has some great acts coming to Tacoma in the 2007-2008 season.

We noted Garrison Keillor, former US Poet-Laureate Billy Collins, “Cirque-Works’ Birdhouse Factory” (a la Cirque du Soleil and the Moscow Circus), and some sort of Grateful Dead Experience. That’s just a few highlights of more than 40 acts the BCPA has scheduled. That’s a significant increase over previous years, so kudos to them for getting more people downtown and casting a much wider net of people’s interests and tastes.

Of course, Exit133 will be there tomorrow night for our Candidate Forum, but it looks like we’ll be there pretty regularly next year, too.

Sorry, needs paint. Looks like a Turn-of-the-Century Whorehouse.

I beg to differ. Classic Victorian vibrancy. While not necessarily a truly historic color, it is in line with the splash you’d see back east a fist full of decades ago.

If I were looking to change residences, this would be right up my alley.

    I live 4 houses down.

My former landlord used to call that building the “harlot house”

    I think he was jealous.

The water feature is a bit of a hazard in the coldest months of winter; it creates an icy mess on the sidewalk for those who walk to the bus in the wee hours of the morning.

I love the color. Wouldn’t this make a fantastic B&B….

I was fortunate enough to live there for a few years.
It is an enchanted building, beautiful inside and out. Frances, Rex, Dax & Chaundra made sure of it!
May the new owners honor the Spirit and history of the house~
And may the wonderful Williams Family continue to thrive~
