Bunnies Making Babies

I can count my unusual Tacoma wildlife stories using one hand.  There was the peacock in old town.  The deer in my front yard.  The three racoons on my roof during my house warming party.  The hawk on my back porch.  Now we have bunnies making babies in the middle of the road.

After the Superbowl today I met John at his house near Proctor for a quick run.  We left his house and turned up the hill.  At the end of the first block we could see the silhouette of some animals in the road.  Were they cats?  No.  Dogs?  No.  We definitely see bunny ears.  What are the other two doing???? Oh…  Two lop earred bunnies were have a little R-Rated fun in the middle of a nice neighborhood.  What would the neighbors think if they knew? 

I approached the threesome and they scattered.  I shooed them out of the street and into a single yard.  As John and I started running, one of the bunnies took chase and followed us for a whole block.  The experience was a little strange.
