Business Cards in Tacoma
The News Tribune ran an AP story today about business cards. It’s a $1.2 billion dollar industry in the US. Getting your own business cards can be as simple as getting cards designed and made in 30 minutes at Staples. Or as fun and interesting as working with a local designer to get that spot-on look for you or your company.
It was funny to see the story since last night we got a box of Exit133 business cards delivered from Chris Sharp, a local artist and designer. The paper was selected for its weight and feel. Chris used an old-school letterpress to lay the ink down. We love ‘em.
Have you seen any interesting cards around Tacoma? Your own business card? Cards you’ve gathered from other businesses? Designers, have you created something cool for a business you’d like to share?
Scan it in and e-mail me the image (the e-mail address is displayed on my card). We’ll post cool submissions, and we’ll white out any phone numbers on the card, so don’t worry about a lot of solicitation calls.
We want to support our local designers so send the company name or designer’s name with the card and we’ll publish that with the card.
Let’s see what we’ve got in Tacoma!
