Celebrate Earth Day with the Tahoma Audubon and Crown Bar

Today is Earth Day. What are you going to do tonight? How are you going to celebrate? Here’s one, rather tasty sounding, option:

The Tahoma Audubon is celebrating Earth Day tonight at Crown Bar and you are invited.

Artwork of artist Chelsea O’Sullivan will be featured: her oil on canvas piece is titled Respect Your Elders and the subject is Julia Butterfly Hill’s climb of the one thousand year old 200 foot Redwood tree under threat of being cut down.

Planet Earth movies will be shown throughout the evening.

Crown Bar’s Dino will be mixing up the Yes We Can cocktail from the National Chef’s Collaborative.

Tahoma Audubon Executive Director Bryan Flint, and Development Coordinator Cami Kesinger will be on hand with information on backyard habitat, Birdathon, Citizen Science, Audubon membership and volunteer opportunities.

Trivia contests with prizes.

Tahoma Audubon will receive donations that evening which will benefit their endowment fund and support their mission.
