Celebrate the Constitution at Doyle's

The 21st Amendment was signed into law on this date, repealing Prohibition. And Doyle’s is celebrating by serving alcohol.

Here’s the amendment, in all its foamy, consciousness-altering glory:

Section 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.
Section 2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use there in of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.

We look forward to Doyle’s celebrating the Twenty Seventh amendment sometime …

No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

Surely that’s a reason to celebrate too?
