Chelsea is the New Paul?
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make the New Tacoma Awards today. However, from what we hear a little announcement was made that may be of interest to you.
What is it?
The Chamber has filled the Manager of Metropolitan Development position. And… Chelsea Levy is the new Paul Ellis. According to David Graybill, she’s has a MUP and MPA from the University of Washington and has a strong interest in transportation issues. She starts work on Monday.
Welcome to the neighborhood!

Indeed. Things in Tacoma are really going great. Chelsea, only the best to you in your new position. Paul left you a city rife with great accomplishments and great things yet to come!

Before Paul left, I told him that his successor will have some big shoes to fill. Good luck to Chelsea. I hope she has big feet.

Hmm… No mention of her Tacoma connections…
I’ll just say that I’m glad to see her (& her SO?) return to Tacoma.
Welcome back Chelsea.

Welcome, glad to hear you are interested in transportation. Feel free to drop by Tacoma Link anytime for a tour!

It seemed doubtful to me that the Chamber would be able to find someone with all of the skills needed to do all of the juggling Paul used to have to do.
Chelsea is a terrific find.
Her family has deep roots in this community and she has the intellect and insight to help make things work here.
Nice choice, Chamber!

Hmm… No mention of her Tacoma connections…
The TNT mentioned that she went to Charles Wright and was campaign manager for John Ladenburg. John and Graybill are members of the influential group, Executive Council for a Greater Tacoma.
