Chinese Reconciliation Park Community Planting

We read in last week’s City Manager’s report that Tacoma’s Chinese Reconciliation Park will be getting some new improvements, thanks in part to generous donations and volunteers. At 10:00 a.m. this Thursday, March 29, volunteers and a crew from Public Works Grounds Maintenance will plant $1,500 worth of plants donated by the Tacoma Garden Club and the Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation. Drip irrigation will also be installed. JA Brennan and associates, who designed the landscaping plan, has also donated $2,400 to help cover the City’s expenses.
