Tacoma City Council Meeting - October 18, 2011
Okay, so it’s been a while since we covered City Council, and we sure picked the easy week to get back into it. Boy that was a quickie. Anyway, here are our notes from last night:
PROCLAMATIONS
Mayor Strickland proclaimed this week, October 18th through 23rd, to be Tacoma Symphony Orchestra Week in Tacoma, and encouraged Tacomans to attend a Symphony or other arts event in observance. She proclaimed the following week, October 23rd through 30th, to be Massage Therapy Awareness Week, which the representative from the Massage Awareness and Networking Group noted was in keeping with Tacoma’s position as the “swirling center of massage.” Take that Seattle.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no public comment this week.
