City Hall Move Estimates Climbing
A consulting firm has provided new cost numbers for the proposed move of City Hall from the historic Medical Arts building on Market to a new campus location in South Downtown. From the News Tribune:
Replacing the Tacoma Municipal Building with a new City Hall campus could cost between $59 million and $74.7 million more than the city has available, a private consulting group estimates.
The figures contradict earlier estimates that suggested the move could produce modest cost savings…
At least we’re discovering this now and not after we’ve started this little project…

as much as I love derby and want to see it everywhere, I sincerely believe there isn’t room for two leagues in tgis town…and sometimes I wonder if theres enough room for one!
What I think tacoma needs is a banked track league.
