City of Tacoma Website: What Do You Want To See?
In our discussion of the City’s proposal to make changes that would allow for the consideration of locality in purchasing decisions, we asked the question “… by the way, whatever did happen to that City website upgrade … ?” Well, it would appear that things are moving along – beginning with a survey of your user experience with the current website…
City survey invites additional input on website usage and content development
The City of Tacoma has been working to overhaul its external website to better serve the needs of Tacoma’s residents, businesses and visitors. As part of its efforts to fully integrate a more modern design with improved ease of navigation and citizen engagement, the City’s Media and Communications Office invites everyone to provide additional input through a brief web usage survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/cotwebcontent.
The survey asks about what services you value, and what you’d like to see on the City website. No word on how long the survey will be available, or the timeline for developing the new website, but we’ve heard rumors that there’s a push to get this done.
So, what do you want from a new City of Tacoma website?
