Coming Soon: Café Brosseau

If you drive up North 21st Street from time to time, you’ve probably noticed the promising “coming soon” sign on the little storefront at the corner of xxx and N. 21st in the Three Bridges District.

We’re fans of neighborhood eateries and imbiberies of all sorts, so the sign promising Café Brosseau, a “neighborhood café” has our interest piqued.

The Volcano got the scoop, and shared some details this week. The focus will be on local: Madrona coffee, Corina pasteries, Europa Bistro sandwiches, Lynnae’s pickles, and Fingerprint Confections candies.

A couple more fun little local tidbits:

  • The counter top is made of a bowling land from Paradise Lanes in Parkland

The stools are from the recently closed Tempest Lounge. The counter top is a bowling alley lane from Paradise Lanes in Parkland. The café’s name pay homage to local history. Brosseau is the last name of the twin brothers who built the building in the early 1900s.

If all goes well, the doors could be open as early as this Wednesday.
