Coming to Stadium: The Copper Door Bottle Shop & Tap Room

A new business is coming to the Stadium District. The new taproom and bottle shop called The Copper Door (a name change from the original "The Ferm") is planned to open at 12 Tacoma Avenue in the old Angelo Mendi space next to Gibson's Yogurt.

The Copper Door Facebook page shows a logo still sporting a logo for The Ferm, along with a snapshot of the door of the old Angelo Mendi space.

The News Tribune reports that owner Craig Moore plans 24 rotating taps and up to 1,000 craft beers in bottles. Construction is moving forward, but no official opening date has been set yet.

That sounds like a lot of options. In the mean time, if you get thirsty, Tacoma Wine Merchant and Enoteca Wine Bar across the street has an excellent selection of wine and beer to enjoy while you wait.
