Community Art Day - This Saturday

The Tacoma Art Place is throwing open their doors to the community. To be fair, their doors are already pretty wide open, but this Saturday, they’ll be open and free.

The nonprofit art center in the Hilltop is inviting the community to join them for a day of free workshops and opportunities to explore your artistic side. TAP is waiving the normal $10 day pass and class fees, and will be offering the opportunity for artists and art fans of all ages to enjoy a range of art experiences, including chances to learn to throw your own pot, make paper crafts, and make gifts suitable for your Easter baskets. Tacoma Art Place is also holding a raffle for what sounds like a great staycation package including dinner and wine at the Pacific Grill, spa treatments, and more.
