Community Meeting About Economic Study

Remember the economic impact analysis the City asked for? Well, since then AngelouEconomics has been working hard, flying from Austin to Tacoma, and roping lots of people into focus groups. They are ready to unveil the first part of their work.

The City of Tacoma cordially invites you to attend an open community meeting regarding the release of the Downtown Tacoma Economic Impact Analysis from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on April 8 at the Phoenix Room, Freighthouse Square, 430 E. 25th St.

This analysis is intended to identify the economic impact of downtown on the rest of Tacoma, Pierce County, and the state as a whole.

The community meeting on April 8 will be your chance to view the analysis first hand, and staff from the City of Tacoma and AngelouEconomics will be available to address any questions that may arise from the presentation.
