Community Meeting Re: Event Permitting

The City of Tacoma will host a community meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 12 in the City Council Chambers, located on the first floor of 747 Market Street, so community members can gather information and voice support or concerns regarding the proposed transfer of event permitting from the City of Tacoma to Metro Parks Tacoma.

Another opportunity to provide feedback on this proposal will occur at an official public hearing before the Tacoma City Council on April 17, which begins approximately at 5:30 p.m., also in the City Council Chambers. 

Those who cannot attend either the community meeting or the public hearing can provide written or e-mailed feedback in advance of these sessions.
