Community Spirit and a Music Video

This Sunday, November 7, you have the opportunity to join your fellow citizens of Pierce County in a sweeping music video called “Pierce County Sings” at the Stadium High School bowl.
The video will be presented at the Tacoma Dome on May 13, 2011, when famed human rights activist Archbishop Desmond Tutu visits our city. This event is part of the Be the Spark program undertaken by the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF) to promote hope and non-violence. The selected song is “If You’re Out There,” by John Legend, sung by various local artists.
GTCF says:
Our goal is to showcase Pierce County’s diversity by having as many groups and families as possible join us—students, teachers, choirs, football teams, nurses, policemen, etc. This is truly a unique chance to come together and be part of Pierce County’s history.
RSVP on the GTCF Facebook page here. For more information, please contact Mariah Lincoln at Mlincoln@gtcf.org or call her at 253-383-5622.

Seek not the answer, my friend, but only to understand the question. And hope. Never deny hope.

not denying hope. just don’t think the church can deal with the kind of animal the human agency is:) the data clearly shows no history of fixing the problem once and for all. using hope, its like trying to fix a leaky faucet with your mind. doesn’t work. hire lewis black to speak next time. thank you.

Wow, that is one of the worst posters/logos for an event I’ve seen in a while.

My husband and I went and had a blast singing with so many people from Tacoma and Pierce County! Can’t wait to see the video next May! Be the change that you want to see in your community instead of just complaining please.
