Comparing Tacoma's Initiative 1 to Seattle's 2003 Law

KUOW this week did a story on Tacoma’s Initiative 1 (that’s the medical marijuana one, for those of you without your Voter’s Pamphlets handy). The story gives a nice little summary of some of the talking points on each side, and a synopsis of Seattle’s similar 2003 initiative. Of particular interest might be the discussion of the initiative’s impacts since it passed, including administrative cost savings, and no noticeable detrimental impacts on public health or crime levels.
