    These events send entirely the wrong message, and they certainly aren’t doing recreational cyclists any favors.

    Breaking traffic laws and acting as a thuggish mob is not the way to win friends and influence people.

    Civil debate etiquette 101: Don’t call people with whom you disagree “douchebags.”

    Also, based on the mildness of past Tacoma Critical Mass rides, your definition of thuggishness is awfully low, especially for a Tacoman. The rides slow down traffic about as much as a school bus or a garbage truck. The horrors!
